Conveyors IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING THE INSTALLATION OF A CONVEYORS MONITORING SYSTEM IN YOUR MILL, CONTACT US TO SEE HOW WE CAN HELP YOU. This system is installed in 2 of the 6 Sugar Mills in Florida. THE PROGRAM IS AVAILABLE IN SPANISH. Conveyors is a program designed for Sugar Mills, but can be adapted to work in any other conveyor tracking application. As there probably are as many Conveyors layouts as there are Sugar Mills, this program requires programming to adapt it to your needs. Its main functions are:
To perform this function you need to install a Radio Frequency Subsystem:
When the trailer reaches the tandem, the RF tag attached to it activates the RF Reader and sends it its ID (tag number). The RF Reader, at this time, transmits that information to the RS232 Serial Card installed in the Conveyors computer. The program searches a table to match the tag id with a trailer number and, therefore, identifies the trailer. 2) Optionally, transmit that information to the Sampling Computer. After the Conveyors Program identifies the trailer, it can optionally transmit that information to the Lab Samples Program, which incorporates it in its tables, and optionally prints a Sample Ticket to be matched with the juice sample. e5
3) Keep track of its load position as it moves in the conveyor(s) until it reaches the crusher. As a conveyor moves, a sensor transmits an electric pulse every revolution (or half a revolution depending on the sensor) to a Data Acquisition Input Card, which, at its turn, transmits it to the Conveyors Program which computes the distance traveled by the conveyor and relocates the cane piles on it. 4) After the specified time delay, the program opens the valve. The sample then can be collected and matched with its corresponding Sample Ticket. The Conveyors Program offers the functionality to open the valve, clear the dumps counter, and discard the samples already in the conveyors for a fresh start.
